Thai Yoga Massage is slow, flowing and rhythmic - like a dance of massage. The pressure is smooth, gentle, yet firm. The effect is relaxing, revitalizing and rejuvenating. Practitioners use their thumbs, elbows, palms, forearms and feet to create a unique massage, in addition to working with passive yogic-like stretches that are linked to breath work to improve overall health and sense of well being that have a calming effect for both mind and body. Performed on a floor mat with the client fully clothed, using no oils, Thai Yoga Massage is appropriate to receive both before or after a Yoga practice or other activity.

Thai Hand Reflexology targets the stimulation of the internal organs and systems and is an ideal alternative to foot reflexology if there is a foot injury present or the feet are ticklish. This can help to relieve symptoms from irritable bowel syndrome, sinusitis, headache and is ideal for relief from stress.
As an ancient traditional Thai Herbal Medicine treatment, the hot herbal compress contains numerous herbs tightly bound in fabric, which is steamed and then firmly rolled over muscles and joints. Used in combination with a full-body Thai Massage, the herb balls are pressed, rolled or gently pounded over the entire body to soothe sore muscles and joints, release lactic acid and to stimulate circulation and vital organs. Effective for boosting the immune system, the release of volatile oils creates an aroma-therapeutic effect that is uplifting and calming to the senses.
*Included in cost: You will receive 2-herbal balls to take home and re-use as a hot compress for joint and muscle pain relief or to use a s a bath tea ball. Herbal balls can be re-used up to 4 times and kept in the fridge or freezer for future use.
Combining elements of Thai, Tibetan, Indian and Swedish Massage techniques with emphasis on using elbows, forearms and palms to create a unique full body oil massage that uses a combination of techniques that have a flowing and wave-like effect. In this Massage, Jasmine essential oil is used - the aroma is calming to the nerves as it also helps to relieve depression or headaches. It also helps to prevent infection, reduce cough, fade scars, create a sedating effect and aid in skin care.
Thai Yoga Massage is often called the lazy man's yoga - there are many passive assisted stretches that the Thai Massage Practitioner can use to help open hips, lengthen muscles and improve range of motion in the spine. This is the perfect enhancement to any Yoga practice and an active lifestyle. Appropriate for ages 14 and up and good to receive directly before or after any Yoga practice or other activity.
