This Table-based Course is perfect for students who are looking to explore what Thai Massage is all about! Explore what is learned from both the Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Module 1 & Module 2 Mat-based courses while learning Thai Massage sequences and yogic like stretches with the recipient in the Supine, Prone & Side Lying Positions.

If you are limited for space in your studio/massage clinic, or cannot get down on a mat to work comfortably on a client, then this course is for you!

• Discover the healing potential of Thai Massage! This 2,500 year old healing wisdom incorporates the use of 'Metta' that is taken from the Buddhist philosophy of imparting loving kindness on all beings and is often referred to as the Lazy Person's Yoga. Recent research has found Thai Massage to have positive health benefits to easing low back pain, enhancing flexibility, lowering blood pressure and opening up the internal energy flow of the body to increase overall health.

• Learn a combination of Northern and Southern style Thai Massage and Passive Thai Yoga Stretches, as it can be applied on the Massage Table - the Practitioner has the option to either stay on the floor, or to move up and on/off the Table. Many possibilities will be explored.

• Learn 10-Reflexology points for the feet, how to work 3-major 'Sen Energy Lines' of legs and arms, Thai Yoga stretches for hip flexors, quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, shoulders, triceps, chest, plus R.O.M. for hips and spine.

• Learn a 60 - 90 min. full body Thai Massage sequence to include massage for back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, face, scalp and the entire lower body.

What is included in the in-person and online self-paced / virtual classroom courses:

  • All students will be sent a reading assignment in advance of the course.
  • Workbook with pictures and step-by-step abbreviations for all Thai Yoga Massage sequences.
  • Pre-class YouTube video assignment on the topic of 'Sen Energy Lines' and how to work them.
  • Unlimited 90-day Video On-Demand Access to the Zoom recordings of the recorded training event.

For Online Students: If attending the classroom virtually as a Livestreaming Student, the meeting link(s) will be provided to you several days before the course begins.
  • You will be mailed your Workbook.
  • Virtual Classroom Students will be mailed the Certificate upon completion of the course.
  • Self-Paced Students will be mailed the Certificate once a 1-hour private Zoom Virtual Coaching / Evaluation session with Instructor Sharon Brown-Horton is completed to review techniques and address Q & A's.

Thai Hand Reflexology is an ancient form of massage that is based on Thai Medicine and 'Sen Energy' healing. It is a non-invasive health technique that recognizes that parts of the body such as the hand and the feet reflect the whole body. What makes Thai Hand Reflexology different from that of Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques, is the use of a wooden massage tool.

This is an exceptionally relaxing treatment to receive and provides the recipient with the chance to unwind fully. This treatment can be performed virtually anywhere, from an airplane, train or car to an office, shop, clinic, hospital or home. It is a safe, natural healing art that can be used effectively as an alternative to Foot Reflexology. For example, if someone has a foot injury, a leg and/or foot in a cast, ticklish feet, or if they don't want their feet worked on for personal reasons.

Thai Hand Reflexology is empowering, because whether someone suffers from irritable bowel syndrome, sinusitis, headache, needs relief from stress, or to boost immunity, it can help. An added benefit of Hand Reflexology is that the Practitioner can use the techniques on themselves.

What you will learn in this course:

  • Benefits of Hand Reflexology and how the Reflex points refer to organs, systems and bones of the body.
  • Learn 30-steps of work for a relaxing Hand Reflexology Massage sequence to mobilize and warm up the wrists, fingers and hands, prior to working on the Reflex points with the wooden stick.
  • Learn how to use the wooden stick to apply intermittent pressure over 25-Reflex points on the palmar surface of both hands. This is combined with using thumb and finger slides, thumb circles or thumb presses.
  • Learn how to stimulate the 'Sen Kalathari' Energy Line for improved health and to open the internal energy flow.

What is included in this course:

  • Picture Workbook that includes step-by-step pictures with abbreviated how-to sequences, plus full list of the Reflexology Points and the health benefits of working each point.
  • Unlimited 90-day video On-Demand Access to Zoom Media recordings of this training event. The link(s) will be provided to you approximately 7-days after your have completed your training. This course is also available ONLINE.
  • You will receive your Certificate of Completion at the end of the training day.
